The Sounds of the Universe: How Do How Do The Lovely Thing Commentary by Stephen Gambello
The sounds of the Universe are the
signals of existence. Scientists convert
electromagnetic energy into audible sound.
It is converting the invisible, inaudible -- in space -- power of the Universe into an audible sound in our
atmosphere.
The sounds of the Universe are multitudinous, unlimited and mysterious. We are listening to the power of existence translated into a sonorous language that we can perceive.
S Brian Adam's Opuses, also, are a translation of his powerful essence into a language that we may perceive as sonorous.
There is only the sound of his instruments, moving through sonorous space mysteriously, yet full of intent.
We are the living embodiment of mysterium. S Brian Adam recognizes this, and fully opens himself up to this mysterium. He plays his keys in accordance to what he knows deep within his entity, his presence, his expansion of mind.
(S Brian Adam has offered this articulation in addition: "My atmosphere of doing-recognizing itself as itself" ...WHAT THEN -- THEN WHAT....

The constancy of the note, as it maintains its presence in the atmosphere, has its own variations of in pitch. Our mind, as it absorbs the constancy of the ongoing note will always shape the constancy in accordance to our thoughts.
S Brian Adam adds: "Our thoughts = a constancy: all perceiving is knowing-doing- being."
We can never hear the same sound as a monotonous constant, just as our mind cannot maintain a single monotonous thought. Our minds shape the reality we occupy.
Opus 3174 has some passages of a single playing note. Yet, there are variations in the notes. We hear transitions -- but they are gradual, evolving eventually into another possibility.
Opus 3174 is a pulsating nova, or it is the pulsating blood of the body, or it is the pulsating subatomic particles. Each and every sound is the same intent: nature on its varying levels remains constant, ongoing, steady.... In these sounds, we recognize the inevitability of peace.
Pure Nature is peaceful. It can be what we think of as destructive, but only as a variation of the system. Its destructiveness is an impersonal part. The sounds we listen to that reflect the energy we live is ultimately the sound of tranquility: perfection.
S Brian Adam expands upon Pure Nature:
Pure Nature is at peace with itself--is what it is, in its perceivable variations. What we see as destructive is part of the entire program. It is impersonal! The sound we hear and listen within is the sound of tranquility, once no longer fought, but accepted: the expected, accepted varyings of being-doing: WHAT THEN -- THEN WHAT....
The Universe sound: perfection. The Opuses of S Brian Adam: reflection of the perfection....
