The videos of How Do How Do The Lovely Thing are innocent -- by Stephen Gambello
The videos of S Brian Adam, as
edited by myself, have emerged as a very personal extension of my life. S Brian Adam has given intimately of himself
with regard to his work; in following and collaborating in Mr. Adam's process, I have learned to do
the same.
S Brian Adam has lived his life in
accordance to his articulation as living sentient. As he feels, as he lives, so he creates. The quietness of a consciousness is
concomitant with the pre-birth mystery of sentient awareness -- that feeling of
being existent before our birth. The feeling we all have that extends beyond
our immediate life. These are the
principles upon which Mr. Adam has based his life work. As a student of Max Granick, he learned to
fully access and articulate the inner identity.
In this freedom, he has brought us How Do How Do The Lovely Thing. This is a visual, sonorous and written
testament to a life dedicated to maintaining the existential truth of Universal
harmony. It is the very substance that
holds together all existence.
These videos offer us the opportunity of
seeing the world through the eyes of S Brian Adam. We experience what he experiences. We see imagery as he does, the transitions
unifying each frame as a continuous stream of intent. We hear his underlying Opuses, instruments
that serve to convey how he feels in an aural way. Our sonorous atmosphere becomes inhabited by
the vibrations of sound, transforming our mind into a sort of temple/cathedral: a psychic domain of an imagining existential
power-potential....
The words that inhabit some of the
videos give us a hint, an intimation of a mysterious universal language, with
each word possessing a high context.
Each word brings us into a multitude of other words, for each word Mr.
Adam chooses constitutes the whole of human experience, human history, human
sentience.
These videos of How Do How Do The Lovely Thing
are innocent. They are pure of
intention. They give the viewer a
powerful opportunity to view existence without any constraints, any
preconceptions.
They are a narrative of living thought. They tell the story of humanity as witnessed
by the Universe, in the language of the Universe.
As in Nature, these videos develop
within themselves at a gradual pace, as all things eventually transition from
one thing to something else. These
videos are the constant reaffirmation of creation. They are the living sentence of being, the
celebration of the equation: acceptantly knowing one's place in all that is
....
